Since 2011, Turkey has intensified its investment policy in Africa more specifically in the countries of French-speaking Africa through agreements, one of which consists in offering completely free scholarships to various African students who wish to benefit from ” quality international training.

It should be noted that the scholarships offered by the Turkish government are for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate studies. There are also scholarships for those who wish to study the Turkish language.
The scholarships are subdivided into different disciplines:
- Social Science Scholarship (Master)
- Technology scholarship (Master)
- Undergraduate scholarship (in all fields)
- Doctoral scholarship (Doctorate)
The candidate for the undergraduate scholarship must be under the age of 21 and have at least a bachelor’s degree C, D, A.
The candidate for the graduate scholarship must be under 30 years of age and have at least a bachelor’s degree. The candidate for the research grant (doctorate) must have a master’s degree and be under 35 years of age.
